Accenture acquires Salesforce consultancy Incapsulate
Accenture has acquired Incapsulate, a Washington, DC-based IT consultancy specializing in Salesforce solutions.
Founded in 2008, Incapsulate designs and implements Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) solutions for organizations in the public sector and financial services industries. A Salesforce platinum partner, Incapsulate has worked with municipalities, state, and federal government agencies across North America, as well as with Fortune 500 companies.
Incapsulate also has capabilities across various other cloud platforms, including AWS, Google, Tableau, and DocuSign. The firm has offices in the US, Canada, and India.
As part of the acquisition, more than 275 Salesforce practitioners and software engineers will join Accenture’s Salesforce business group.“With Incapsulate onboard, we have strengthened our Salesforce services, particularly in the insurance and public sector industries, enhancing our ability to accelerate digital transformation and unlock business value for our clients,” said Emma McGuigan, senior managing director and enterprise & industries technology lead at Accenture.
Clearsight Advisors served as exclusive advisor to Incapsulate on its sales to Accenture.
Accenture’s Salesforce practice has more than 50,000 professionals globally holding 60,000+ Salesforce certifications. Salesforce is the most popular CRM platform, owning nearly a quarter of the market, according to Statista.

Accenture recently acquired OnProcess Technology, a Boston-based provider of supply chain managed services.
