OC&C Strategy Consultants gains B Corp certification
OC& Strategy Consultants has been named a certified B Corporation, the London-headquartered consultancy announced yesterday.
To become one of the 7,000+ for-profit corporations that hold the designation, OC&C had to undergo a rigorous evaluation by B Lab, the global nonprofit that administers the B Corp program.
Companies must receive a minimum score of 80 from an assessment of social and environmental performance, integrate B Corp commitments into company governing documents, and pay an annual fee based on annual sales. Companies must also be re-certified every three years to maintain B Corp status.
OC&C says the B Corp certification aligns with values and initiatives previously pursued by the firm. Its client work increasingly embeds ESG principles and pro bono work has expanded to 1.5% of revenue, the consultancy said in a press release.
Environmentally, OC&C performs in-depth measurements of carbon emissions and setting and is working towards science-based targets to minimize footprint in the short- and long-term.

Founded in 1987, OC&C provides strategy, operations, and M&A advisory to retail, consumer goods, TMT, leisure and hospitality, and private equity clients, among others. The firm has over 800 employees across offices in Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific.
OC&C has US offices in Boston and New York.
