CM Equity Partners invests in Dexis Consulting Group
CM Equity Partners (CMEP) has invested in Dexis Consulting Group, a Washington, DC-based consultancy specializing in US foreign assistance programs.
Founded in 2001, Dexis supports program design and delivery of foreign assistance programs, working with clients such as the State Department, USAID, and the CDC. Dexis’ practices include agriculture and economic growth, anti-corruption, conflict mitigation, and security sector assistance.
The firm has approximately 500 employees and has worked on projects in over 80 countries.
“We are thrilled to get the financial backing of CMEP, with a nearly 30-year track record of investing in the federal services marketplace,” said Mihir Desai, CEO of Dexis. “Our vision is to expand our social impact work within other agencies that make a difference to citizens, including natural disaster recovery, public health, climate change, and AI enabled citizen services.”
Dexis will maintain its current leadership team, including its board. CMEP was advised on the transaction by law firm DLA Piper.
“We are looking forward to Dexis continuing to support our customers, providing them with lasting solutions to their most complex challenges, as we grow and broaden our business while maintaining the same culture and commitment to Dexis’ highly skilled employees and partners,” added Mark McEuen, COO of Dexis.
Headquartered in New York, CMEP focuses on controlling investments in middle-market companies in the US and Canada. The firm specializes in federal services and aerospace and defense, and has completed over 60 acquisitions since 1993.
