HKA, a global risk and disputes consulting firm, earlier this month moved to a new office location in Washington, DC’s downtown core.

The May 2023 acquisition of Credibility International left HKA with two Washington offices in close proximity to each other. In the first week of January, the two offices merged and moved to a new location at 2020 K Street NW in the Golden Triangle neighborhood. The move was led by Lauren Sheats and Liz Dragonette.

The new office is the home base of 56 HKA professionals, including those working in the firm’s government contracts, forensic accounting and commercial damages, intellectual property, and construction claims service lines.

The office is located in an 11-story, 411,000-square-foot building that was originally built in 1974 and renovated in 2004. It is close to George Washington University and Washington Circle, and four blocks away from Farragut North, Farragut West, and Foggy Bottom metro stations.
