W. Capra Consulting to acquire Impact 21
W. Capra Consulting, a Chicago-based IT consultancy focusing on the retail industry, has agreed to acquire Impact 21, a Lexington, KY-based retail sector consulting firm.
Founded in 1998, Impact 21 provides business and technology consulting services to petroleum/convenience store, retailing, refining, and foodservice industries. The firm has practices in business and technology alignment, technology and innovation, customer strategy and experience, category management and foodservice, and staff augmentation.
Impact 21 have more than 50 employees, according to LinkedIn, and offices in Lexington and Tampa.
The Impact 21 deal will create a “premier end-to-end consulting and services business,” W. Capra Consulting said in a press release. The combined firm will offer have offerings across strategy, technology, operations, and transformation, and will have consultant teams experience in leading the full lifecycle of client initiatives.
The transaction, which is slated to close in the second quarter of 2024, will grow W. Capra to five offices and expand its physical presence into Kentucky and Florida. The firm currently has offices in Chicago, Nashville, and Toronto.

As part of the transaction, Impact 21 co-founders Lisa Biggs and Lesley Saitta will join W. Capra as partners in the consulting practice.
