Palm Tree hires Britton Woolf as managing director for transaction advisory
Palm Tree LLC, a Los Angeles-based investment banking and financial advisory firm, has hired Britton Woolf as managing director and leader of transaction advisory services.
Based in New York, Woolf will lead teams advising private equity firms and corporate clients on business combination, FinOps assessment, tax diligence and valuation, buy and sell-side due diligence, and sell-side readiness.
He brings 20 years of experience advising on buy-side and sell-side transactions across a range of industries. Woolf has expertise working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies on global carve-outs, public-to-private, distressed, and dispute resolution situations.
He previously spent eight years with Alvarez & Marsal, where he was a senior director in the transaction advisory group. Woolf also spent nine years at PwC, where he was a manager in the transaction services practice.
He has an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.

Palm Tree has over 120 employees, according to LinkedIn, and offices in Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, and Detroit.
