Keystone Partners, a Boston-based outplacement and leadership development consulting firm, has acquired The Center for Executive Coaching (CEC), a Sarasota, FL-based provider of executive coach certification and training.

Founded in 2006 by Andrew Neitlich, CEC has trained over 2,500 coaches in 32 countries and is fully accredited with the Center for Continuing Education and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as an executive coaching training organization.

CEC provides virtual and in-person programs that are tailored to meet ICF standards and deliver the necessary training hours for associate certified coach (ACC) and professional certified coach (PCC) designations.

Keystone’s acquisition of CEC will give it a new practice in coach certification, complementing its practices in leadership services and career transition.

As part of Keystone, CEC plans to expand certification program offerings, upgrade member site and distance learning experience, and expand support in recertification and alumni networks.

"We now have significantly more resources to continue the growth of CEC, to improve our standing as a leader in executive coaching training and certification, and most importantly, to bring even more value to our members," said Neitlich.

Founded in 1982, Keystone provides services in team development, executive coaching, leadership development, outplacement, and executive transition services. The firm works with clients across a broad range of industries and functions.
