Nardello & Co. hires digital forensics expert Joseph Pochron as managing director
Nardello & Co., a New York-headquartered investigations consultancy, has hired Joseph Pochron as a managing director in its digital investigations and cyber defense practice.
Based in San Francisco, Pochron brings more than 20 years of experience in digital forensics, cybercrime investigations, e-discovery, and cyber incident response. He has investigated or managed thousands of cases involving the collection and analysis of computer, mobile device, network, and cloud-based data.
Pochron also has extensive experience providing expert testimony and forensic reports.
He joins Nardello & Co. from EY, where he spent four years and was latterly executive director for forensic and integrity services within the digital investigations and privacy practice.
Before that, Pochron spent five years at TransPerfect Legal Solutions, where he was latterly president of forensic technology and consulting.
Before his career in consulting, Pochron spent 13 years in law enforcement, latterly serving as commanding officer of the digital forensic lab of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
He has a master’s degree in criminal justice from DeSales University and a bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminal justice from Moravian University.

The consultancy last year bolstered its cyber and data privacy capabilities with the addition of Timothy Gallagher, a former chief security officer, and Wendy Wu, a former federal prosecutor and cybercrime lawyer, as managing directors. The firm also added James Aquilina, a former cybercrime prosecutor, to its advisory board.

The firm supports law firms, financial institutions, large corporations, NGOs, governments, academic institutions, and family offices.
Nardello & Co. has seven offices across the US, UK, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The firm has over 100 employees, according to LinkedIn.
