ZS launches platform and products business unit
ZS, a Chicago-headquartered management and technology consulting firm, on Monday announced the launch of a platform and products business unit.
The new unit – which will be led by chairman Jaideep Bajaj – aims to accelerate the expansion of ZS’ software-as-a-service offerings.
Though the firm introduced its first SaaS product over a decade ago, the new business unit represents the latest in a series of investments in the SaaS market, which is expected to grow from $237 billion in 2022 to $908 billion by 2030, according to Fortune Insights.
Although the company is expanding its investment in proprietary technology, it will continue to offer management consulting services, ZS said in a press release.
“While platforms and products are not new to ZS, the creation of this new business unit will allow us to better serve clients with complementary, world-class product and consulting services,” Bajaj said. “Through both our historic consulting services and technology offerings, we’ll continue to help companies realize their digital operating models, drive business transformation and respond to changing market needs by using ZS’s AI-powered, globally applicable, self-serve technologies.”
The products and platforms business unit includes the Zaidyn and Max AI platforms. Built on AWS, Zaidyn is a cloud-native analytics platform that spans over 50 AI-powered products and solutions.
These include Zaidyn Commercial, which helps sales and marketing teams with customer engagements, field performance, and analytics; Zaidyn Connected Health, which uses intelligence insights and interventions to improvement patient outcomes; and Zaidyn Marketplace, which provides life sciences algorithms and data offerings to improve budget planning, marketing, and more.
Max AI, meanwhile, is a generative AI platform that helps clients combine existing machine learning models and automation techniques with the latest large language models. The platform enables companies to build and deploy autonomous AI agents and applications at scale using public data and private structured and unstructured data.
“The list of firms who can provide both top-flight consulting services and innovative technology products is short, and I’m pleased ZS clients will benefit from the breadth of our offerings,” said Pratap Khedkar, CEO of ZS. “Our work to transform ZS into a one-stop shop has not been easy, but it’s worth it to help our clients achieve their loftiest goals.”
Founded in 1983, ZS has more than 13,000 employees across 35 offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. The firm primarily works with clients in healthcare and life sciences, providing services and solutions in sales and marketing, strategy, operations, technology, and analytics.
