MTX Group, a Frisco, TX-based IT consulting firm, has hired Nate Shilling as its chief transformation officer.

Shilling brings over two decades of Salesforce ecosystem experience to MTX, where he will drive the firm’s transformation objectives. He will work to scale solution architecture efforts and evolve delivery accelerators, leverage innovations from partner cloud service platforms, and embed data engineering and Gen AI into solution designs.

“Nate brings a visionary approach to innovation and an unwavering commitment to creating value for our clients. His leadership will be pivotal as we continue to transform and excel in an ever-evolving marketplace," said Mahesh Nattanmai, president of MTX.

Shilling joins MTX from Charles River Laboratories, a biotech research firm, where he spent three years as an executive director. Before that, he spent a year as a specialist leader at Deloitte’s Kansas City office, two years as SVP of architecture at Wave6, and three years as a senior digital expert at McKinsey & Company.

“Solution Architecture is an area we emphasize early with our clients. “The collective MTX experience in architecting and engineering cloud solutions continues to amaze me and I'm proud to be part of this mission,” he added.

MTX works with government agencies and businesses in transportation, health and life sciences, education, and financial services. The firm has offerings across digital transformation, experience design, modernization, organizational change, systems implementation, cybersecurity, data and AI strategy, customer care, mobile, and managed services.
