GEP receives multiple accolades in procurement arena
GEP, a Clark, NJ-based provider of supply chain and procurement software and consulting, was recognized at the World Procurement Awards and in ISG’s procurement software platforms report.
GEP last week was recognized as the Best Procurement Consultancy at the World Procurement Awards in London. The firm was also short-listed as the Best Procurement Technology Provider.
GEP was selected because of its ability to “help the procurement function to push boundaries within its business.” The annual awards are adjudicated by a panel of C-suite leaders from large companies such as Accenture, American Airlines, CBRE, Citigroup, and Heineken.
“We’re proud to be recognized for both our global consulting and best-in-class procurement software because we uniquely provide our clients with the proverbial ‘one hand to shake,’ which is key to customers seeking a marked leap in digital innovation, impact, and value,” said Al Girardi, GEP’s chief marketing officer.
GEP last month was named a “leader” for the fourth consecutive year in the ISG Provider Lens report for procurement software platforms.
“GEP’s continuing innovation with AI, low-code/no-code, sustainability tools, end-to-end supply-chain-through-procurement suite and strategic partnerships enhance the firm’s value, making it a Leader in procurement software platforms and solutions,” said Bruce Guptill, lead analyst at ISG Provider Lens.
GEP’s cited strengths in the report include OpenAI ChatGPT integration into its software, which provides an AI interface for data analysis, process automation, and decision-making. GEP was also lauded for its AI-powered, low-code platform GEP Quantum and for its ability to provide software coupled with in-house consulting, implementation, and managed services.
GEP was also named a leader in ISG’s 2024 report on procurement services – receiving the distinction across all three categories of procurement operations modernization services, strategic sourcing and category management services, and direct procurement enablement and modernization services.
