Resource Innovations acquires clean energy consultancy Cadeo
Resource Innovations, a provider of clean energy services and software solutions to utility and government clients, has acquired Cadeo, a Portland, OR-based clean energy consulting firm.
Founded in 2014, Cadeo delivers consulting services in energy efficiency, electrification, and distributed energy resources for decarbonization efforts. The boutique firm works with utilities and public agencies on clean energy engagements in market research, evaluation, and policy analysis.
Cadeo has 41 employees, according to its website.
Resource Innovations’ acquisition of Cadeo will expand its presence into Oregon. The San Francisco-based firm has more than 500 employees listed on LinkedIn and has 10 offices across the US and Canada.
The Cadeo team will integrate into Resource Innovations, bringing additional capabilities in research and analytics, codes and standards, market transformation, and emerging tech.

Founded in 2016, Resource Innovations provides energy efficiency and decarbonization-related consulting, utility demand-side management solutions, and software and analytics. The firm’s consulting offerings include program evaluation, market characterization and potential, data-drive analysis, and smart grid optimization.
