Guidehouse wins IT contract with FBI
Guidehouse, a Tysons, VA-based management consulting firm, has been selected as a vendor for the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s information technology supplies and support services 2 (ITSSS-2) blanket purchasing agreement (BPA).
As part of the agreement, Guidehouse will deliver critical IT services over the next eight years. The ITSSS-2 BPA provides a streamlined way for the FBI and broader US Department of Justice to obtain IT services from a qualified pool of vendors.
"Our team brings robust IT expertise combined with a deep understanding of the FBI environment and mission,” said John Saad, partner and defense & security segment leader at Guidehouse. “We welcome the opportunity to continue partnering with the Bureau to address pressing technology challenges to advance national security."
Guidehouse has worked with the FBI for over 17 years, providing support across finance, facilities, strategy, cybersecurity, data governance, organizational design, program and project management, and data analytics.
Guidehouse’s defense & security practice supports US diplomatic, intelligence, law enforcement, and defense agencies on projects in mission optimization, technology modernization, and financial management.
Formerly under the ownership of Veritas Capital, Guidehouse was last year acquired by Bain Capital for $5.3 billion. The firm is principally composed of the former PwC US public sector division and Navigant Consulting, as well as several smaller acquisitions (Dovel Technologies and Grant Thornton public sector).
The consultancy provides management and technology consulting services to public sector agencies and commercial firms in highly-regulated industries. It has more than 16,000 people across 55+ locations worldwide.
