Sparq, an Atlanta-based digital engineering consultancy, has acquired Amplify Consulting Partners, a Seattle-based data consulting firm.

Founded in 2017, Amplify provides services in data engineering, visual analytics, data-driven marketing, and program management to Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Lululemon.

The firm’s technology partners include Snowflake, Matillion, Tableau, and Salesforce.

Amplify has over 100 employees, according to LinkedIn.

Sparq’s acquisition of Amplify will expand its suite of services and presence on the Pacific Northwest.

“Data is the root of a successful technology strategy,” said Monty Hamilton, CEO of Sparq. “Amplify has grown into one of the country’s most trusted names in data engineering. Together, we will create new solutions for clients that integrates data, analytics, program management and world-class technology solutions.”

The Amplify transaction marks the third deal for Sparq in the last six months. The consultancy in February bought Octobot, an Uruguay-based digital engineering firm.

“We value transparency and accountability in our business and pride ourselves on empowering our teams to deliver results for our clients,” said Luke Newman, managing partner at Amplify Consulting Partners. “Through this, we have built a data focused business providing solutions that drive long-term impact at scale. We are excited to join Sparq and continue to deliver data engineering solutions that foster innovation and growth.”

Founded in 2004, Sparq provides outsourced digital engineering to help Fortune 1000 clients develop digital applications, products, and experiences. The firm has over 700 employees across the United States and Latin America.

Harvest Partners, a New York-based middle-market private equity firm, in June 2023 acquired a majority stake in Sparq.
