Oliver Wyman adds Christine Astorino as partner in digital practice
Oliver Wyman, a New York-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Christine Astorino as a partner in its digital practice and a leader in its “customer first” (customer experience) business.
Based in South Carolina, Astorino brings over 25 years of experience in marketing and design, with deep expertise in transforming brands and customer- and employee-centric interactions.
She joins Oliver Wyman from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she spent the last four-and-a-half years as a managing director and member of the firm’s customer experience leadership team.
Before that, Astorino spent two years at WeWork, where she was a VP focusing on “future of work” consulting engagements with enterprise clients. She also previously spent three years with McKinsey & Company, where she was an associate partner in the global design team.
Earlier in her career, Astorino was chief marketing officer at supplements retailer GNC.
She has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Penn State University.
“Having a strong academic design foundation early in life, combined with the rigor of top management consulting expertise, including client-side experience as a CMO, brings me to this exciting point in my career,” Astorino said. “I'm able to bring this unique perspective, knowledge, and momentum to Oliver Wyman.”
Oliver Wyman has over 7,000 global consultants providing services in strategy, operations, turnaround, sales and marketing, and digital, among other areas.
“So excited to partner with, learn from, and create a little brilliant chaos with our newest Partner, Christine Astorino,” said Cory Cruser, a partner in Oliver Wyman’s customer first business. “If this were Super Mario Bros. we just levelled up. Welcome to the party!”
Oliver Wyman recently appointed Heather Stern as chief marketing officer and Neema Uthappa as chief information officer.
