Globant to acquire IT consultancy Blankfactor
Globant, a Luxembourg-headquartered IT services firm, has agreed to acquire Blankfactor, a Miami-based financial services sector IT consulting firm.
Founded in 2016, Blankfactor works with payments, banking, and capital markets clients in North America and the UK. The firm has extensive experience in the areas of card issuing, merchant acquiring, and securities finance.
Blankfactor has practices in product engineering, data engineering, and enterprise AI solutions, and has technology partnerships with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.
The consultancy has more than 450 professionals across offices in the US, UK, Colombia, Romania, and Bulgaria.
Globant’s acquisition of Blankfactor will bolster its payments industry capabilities in North America.

Globant was founded in 2003 in Argentina but is currently based in Luxembourg City. The firm has nearly 30,000 employees in 33 countries and primarily works with clients in the US and UK.
Globant has practices in digital transformation, enterprise cloud, marketing and advertising, and artificial intelligence.

Michael Wear and Melody Pak, co-founders of Blankfactor, will continue to lead their team following closure of the transaction.
