Paladin Management hires Don Harer as partner

Paladin Management, a Los Angeles-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Don Harer as a partner in its Chicago office.
Harer brings 25 years of consulting experience focusing on helping companies, investors, and lender solver operational and financial challenges. He has worked with clients in a wide range of industries to design and execute restructuring plans and optimize operations and balance sheets.
Harer has served in numerous interim management roles, including as chief financial officer and chief restructuring officer.
He was previously a managing director at FTI Consulting and Conway McKenzie, an executive director at Capstone Advisory Group, and a senior director at Alvarez & Marsal. He began his consulting career at PwC, where he worked in the assurance services and corporate reorganization division.
Before entering consulting, Harer served in the Signal and Artillery Corps of the US Army.
He has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University. Harer is a certified public accountant and a certified turnaround professional.

Paladin was founded in 2019 and has grown to a team of approximately 39 people. The boutique firm provides mid-market services in restructuring, transaction advisory, performance improvement, strategic communications, and strategic advisory.
Paladin has offices in Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, New York, and Annapolis, MD.
The firm in hired Jeff Nerland as a partner based in Orange County, California.
