BARR Advisory hires Noelle McMullen as COO and integrator

BARR Advisory, a Kansas City-based cloud-based security and compliance consulting firm, has hired Noelle McMullen as chief operating officer and integrator.
Based in Dallas, McMullen brings more than a decade of experience in sales, client relationships, operations, and business management in the IT and consulting fields. In her new role, she will focus on integrating cross-departmental workflows, enhancing and refining internal processes, and facilitating efficient execution of BARR’s strategy.

McMullen was previously COO of software firm SmartLogic/MarLogic and a managing partner at Gartner. Earlier in her career, she was a director at KPMG, a senior manager at Capgemini, and a senior consultant at Booz Allen.
McMullen has a bachelor’s degree in information systems management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

BARR Advisory was founded in 2014 and specializes in cybersecurity and compliance services for organizations serving regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, and government. The firm’s offerings include cybersecurity regulatory compliance, penetration testing, and cybersecurity consulting, as well as assessments and certifications for numerous regulatory frameworks.
