Stax hires Brad Kuntz as senior managing director

Stax, a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) consulting firm, has hired Brad Kuntz as a senior managing director in its New York office.
Kuntz brings more than 25 years of experience in strategy consulting and investment management to Stax, where he will help expand private equity capabilities in the Americas, the firm said in a press release.
Kuntz most recently founded and led New Amsterdam Capital Group, a hedge fund specializing in dividend arbitrage strategies. Before that, he held a number of senior leadership roles at EY and EY-Parthenon.
At EY, Kuntz served as partner and Americas innovation leader for the transaction advisory services practice, and at EY-Parthenon he was a senior managing director and head of the industrials practice and New York office. Kuntz also played a key role in integrating the strategy firm into EY.
He has an MBA from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Stax specializes in commercial due diligence, value creation, and exit planning services for private equity firms and other investors. The firm has more than 250 employees across the US, UK, and Sri Lanka.
