Iron Road Partners hires Jennifer Conwell as director

Iron Road Partners, a New York-based regulatory consulting firm specializing in investment managers, has hired Jennifer Conwell as a director.

Conwell joins Iron Road from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where she spent the last 24 years. She most recently was an examination manager in the division of examinations – private funds unit, where she led a team across SEC regional offices examining investment managers in private equity, credit, real estate, and hedge funds.

Conwell also was an examiner in the SEC’s broker-dealer inspection program, where she examined broker-dealers on retail matters, financial and operational controls, training, unregistered securities offerings, investment banking, and internal controls.

She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baruch College.

The firm’s strategic advisory offerings include mock audits and compliance assessments, policy design, conflict of interest review, M&A due diligence, operational due diligence, and compliance program costs analyses and optimization.
