BPM follows Canadian expansion with entry into UK market

Following on heels of its June 2024 expansion into Canada, BPM LLP yesterday announced its formal entry into the UK market.
The San Francisco-based accounting and consulting firm will now support cross-border businesses on both sides of the Atlantic as they navigate new market entry and international expansion.
"With its robust infrastructure, thriving talent pool, and dynamic tech and financial sectors, the UK remains a top destination for international businesses,” said Jim Wallace, CEO of BPM. “With our expanded presence, we are well-positioned to help clients seize new growth opportunities with high-quality accounting and consulting services."
The firm, which has more than 1,200 professionals, will provide accounting and tax guidance to first-time expansions as well as established businesses seeking local knowledge.
BPM has added four partners to lead the UK venture: Adam Dunnett, Dominic King, Sean O’Sullivan, and Nick Whitehead.
“We now have a dedicated team on the ground who embody the BPM values and we're more capable than ever of supporting international businesses," said the UK partner group. "Whether it's payroll and HR, tax compliance, advisory or audit services, our global presence ensures that our clients receive coordinated, high-quality support as they expand globally."
BPM last year expanded into Canada with a Montreal location. It recently bolstered its Canadian operations with the acquisition of WBM Partners LLP, a Calgary-headquartered accounting and consulting firm.
The firm has 15+ offices in the Western US, Canada, and India. It is the 34th-largest accountancy in the US, according to IPA, with annual revenue of $242 million.
BPM earlier this year announced the launch of BPM Global Ltd, its new international network of independent member firms.
