Point B names David Hanfland as chief executive officer

Point B, a Seattle-headquartered management consulting firm, has appointed David Hanfland as chief executive officer, effective March 31.
Hanfland, who is based in Chicago, joins the firm with over 30 years of consulting experience. He has deep expertise in scaling professional services businesses, including digital and analytics capabilities.
Hanfland joins Point B from Kearney, where he spent over 25 years, including 10 years on the global leadership team. He previously served as global vice-chair for strategy and corporate development, head of the Americas region, and head of the global health practice.
Between 2003 and 2008, Hanfland was a managing director at Huron Consulting Group.
He has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Indiana University.

Point B was founded in 1995 and has over 700 associates across 12 US offices. The firm has practices in strategy and operations, digital transformation, enterprise technology, M&A, and organizational effectiveness, among other areas.
