DXC hires William Pieroni as strategy and growth leader for insurance software and BPS

DXC Technology, an Ashburn, VA-headquartered IT consulting firm, has hired William Pieroni as global strategy and growth leader for insurance software and business process services (BPS).
Based in Boston, Pieroni will be responsible for defining strategic priorities, guiding global growth initiatives, and strengthening the firm’s position in the insurance ecosystem.
He has over 25 years of experience leading organizations at the intersection of insurance, technology, and transformation. He most recently spent nine years as president and CEO of Acord, the standards-setting body for the global insurance industry.
Before that, he was global COO at Marsh McLennan, SVP at State Farm, and GM for global insurance at IBM. Earlier in his career, Pieroni was a partner at Accenture and a consultant at McKinsey & Company.
He has an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois.
