Beghou Consulting hires Pradeepta Mishra as VP for AI innovation

Beghou Consulting, a Chicago-based life sciences consulting firm, has hired Pradeepta Mishra as VP for AI innovation.

Mishra brings 20 years of IT experience, with a focus on AI innovation in insurance, retail, automotive, and healthcare. He has led the end-to-end development of AI products from idea to deployment.

In his new role at Beghou, Mishra will focus on growing the firm’s AI capabilities to help life sciences clients bring therapies to market faster and with greater precision.

He was previously chief architect and head of AI at Data Safeguard and director of AI at Lymbyc, two AI startups. Earlier in his career, Mishra held data science roles at Tata Consultancy Services and Mercer.

He has filed for 17 patents relating to AI methodologies and has written 11 books on topics including data science, deep learning, and AI.

Mishra has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Utkal University in India and is currently pursuing a PhD in artificial intelligence from REVA University in India.
