Embark appoints Felice Gorordo as chief executive officer

Embark, a Dallas-headquartered business consulting firm, has appointed Felice Gorordo as its chief executive officer.
Gorordo succeeds Clancy Fossum as CEO. Fossum, who has been at Embark since 2016, will remain at the firm until the end of the quarter to assist with the executive transition.
Based in Miami, Gorordo brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in management and governance. Between 2023 and 2025, he was the US alternate executive director and board member at the World Bank Group.
Before that, Gorordo was the CEO of three venture-backed companies: eMerge Americas, a platform focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship, and Clearpath, a tech company focusing on immigration filing. After Clearpath was acquired by L1bre in 2016, he served as CEO of the latter firm.
Gorordo was also previously a venture partner in the global intratech fund of I Squared Capital.
He has a bachelor’s degree in government from Georgetown University.
"Felice's strong background in technology and private equity will help drive the next era of growth and innovation at Embark," said Paul Allen, founder and chairman.
Embark was founded in 2010 and has nearly 600 people across 18 US offices. The firm provides services in financial advisory, business transformation, deal advisory, outsourcing, and tailored solutions to clients across industries.
"I am incredibly honored and excited to join the Embark team, build upon the great legacy of Paul Allen and Clancy Fossum, and lead the company through this next era of growth and innovation," Gorordo said.
Embark refreshed its brand last spring.
