HKA adds IP expert David Tenenbaum as principal
HKA, a risk and disputes consulting firm, has hired David Tenenbaum as a principal in its intellectual property and patent damages practice in Chicago.
Tenenbaum brings more than 25 years of experience in assessing and valuating IP and other intangible assets in the contexts of litigation, transactions, tax, and insurance-backed lending.
He has led litigation support engagements in damages quantification, witness preparation, and valuation analysis for matters pertaining to patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secrets. He has supported clients in a wide range of industries.
Tenenbaum previously was a managing director and head of financial valuation at Aon IP Solutions, overseeing the firm’s IP-backed lending insurance product.
Before that, he was a principal at Global Economics Group and a VP at Charles River Associates, where he spent 23 years.
Tenenbaum has a master of management degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
“We are thrilled to welcome David to our growing IP team. His deep technical expertise, leadership in building high-performing teams, and proven track record in delivering value to clients across industries make him a tremendous asset to our practice and to the clients we serve,” said Mike Lasinski, partner at HKA.
HKA earlier this week appointed Ray de Lagorburu as head of its Americas investigations practice.
