EY promotes Adam Blaylock to head of San Jose office
EY US has promoted Adam Blaylock to office managing partner for San Jose.
Blaylock, who has been at EY for 24 years, succeeds Donoghue Clarke, who led the San Jose office since 2022 and is transitioning to a different role at the Big Four accountancy.
“Adam is deeply invested in our Bay Area community, and he knows how to build valuable and long-lasting relationships with clients,” said Clarke. “I know he’ll help even more of our people sharpen that skill and deliver the unrivaled client service that businesses in our region need more than ever.”
Blaylock will lead a team of 1,000 professionals in San Jose.
He will retain his role as EY Americas financial accounting advisory services (FAAS) telecom, media, and technology (TMT) industry and sector leader. Blaylock has extensive experience guiding technology firms on the initial public offering (IPO) process.
The audit partner previously served as TMT sector leader for the US West region.
Blaylock has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Santa Clara University and is a certified public accountant.
“Our colleagues have the skills and adaptability companies need to navigate these pivotal moments of change, and just as important, we’re the kind of team that lifts each other up,” Blaylock said. “By working together to deliver unrivaled client service, we’ll build on the success and momentum Donoghue has helped create.”
EY earlier this year promoted Jerry Ward to head of its Long Island office and Christy Baumann to head of its San Antonio office.
