Deloitte breaches $70 billion in annual revenue
Deloitte’s global revenue grew by 4.8% in local currency to reach $70.5 billion in the fiscal year ending May 31, 2025.
The growth figure represents a rebound from 3.1% growth in FY 2024. Consulting firms have seen business slow in the last two years amid macroeconomic and geopolitical volatility, including a lull in M&A activity. The prospect of a steady flow of US interest rate cuts could mean a bounce back in deals activity, however.
The Americas region was the strongest performer with 7.1% growth, followed by Asia-Pacific with 4.9%. Deloitte’s Europe region lagged significantly, with only approximately 1% growth. Deloitte UK, meanwhile, reported its first revenue decline in 15 years.
Deloitte’s consulting service line powered growth in 2025, with the strategy, risk, and transactions business having 5.5% growth and the technology and transformation business posting 4.7%.
The tax and legal service line had 5.4% growth in FY 2025, while the audit and assurance service line posted 3.8% growth.
Deloitte’s global headcount increased to 470,000 staff and partners from 460,000 the year prior. The growth in headcount occurred despite job cuts at Deloitte member firms around the world, including at Deloitte US’ federal government practice.

The Big Four firm devoted a sizable portion of its press release to trumpeting its advancements in AI and data. Deloitte has pledged $3 billion of investments in generative AI through FY 2030 to upgrade delivery and operations and launch new products and offerings.
