Jarrard adds five professionals

Jarrard, a Nashville-headquartered healthcare communications consultancy, has added five people to its team.

The five healthcare industry professional brings expertise in philanthropy, public affairs, graphic design, and advisory services.

Leading the group is Melinda Church, who joins Jarrard as a senior vice president and brings 35+ years of experience in philanthropy and advancement communications. She has advised nearly 150 clients on philanthropic strategy, campaign development, and donor communications.

Church, who is based in Columbus, previously spent six years with fundraising consultancy Grenzebach Glier and Associates (now Huron), where she was SVP and leader of the strategic communications practice. Before that, she spent nine years at The Ohio State University, where she was VP for advancement integration and communications, and 14 years at the University of Virginia, where she was assistant to the president.

Joining the firm as of counsel, Rose Glenn is a healthcare communications leader with four decades of experience advising on strategy, brand, and culture transformation.

Based in Detroit, Glenn previously spent six years at the University of Michigan, where she was chief communications and marketing officer for Michigan Medicine. Before that she spent 18 years at Henry Ford Health System, where she was SVP of marketing and chief experience and communications officer.

Jarrard is part of healthcare advisory firm Chartis, which acquired it in 2020. Chartis has over 1,000 employees across offices in Chicago, Boston, New York, Nashville, and San Francisco providing services in strategy and M&A, care delivery transformation, financing transformation, communications, and clinical quality solutions.

Jarrard earlier this year promoted Letitia Fecher to partner.
