Guidehouse hires Ron White as chief information officer
Guidehouse, a McLean, VA-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Ron White as chief information officer.
Based in Durham, NC, White will lead the 18,000-person firm’s internal IT operations, cybersecurity, and cloud-first initiatives.
He brings 35+ years of experience in enterprise technology, data strategy, and digital transformation. White has held several global CIO roles and has expertise leading large-scale enterprise system deployments, building analytics capabilities, and driving digital enablement across organizations.
He joins Guidehouse from Avanade, Accenture’s 50,000-person Microsoft-focused consulting subsidiary, where he spent nine years and was global CIO from 2021 to 2025.
Before that, White spent seven years at glass manufacturer O-I, serving as chief process improvement officer and global CIO. Earlier in his career, he spent 18 years at Accenture, where he was a partner leading IT and BPO engagements for clients in the chemicals and education sectors, among others.
White has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Miami University.

Guidehouse provides advisory, technology, and managed services to public and private sector clients.
The firm is a portfolio company of Bain Capital, which acquired it in 2023. The major legacy firms comprising Guidehouse include PwC Public Sector and Navigant.
