Michelle Chen joins SolomonEdwards to grow search practice
Michelle Chen, an experienced recruiting industry leader, has joined business consulting firm SolomonEdwards as a managing partner.
Based in Orange County, Chen will focus on scaling the firm’s national professional search practice – expanding it beyond its current markets in the Philadelphia and Tri-State areas. She will also use her accounting and finance recruiting expertise to support SolomonEdwards’ office of the CFO and financial services consulting practices.
Chen brings nearly three decades of experience in staffing and professional services. She joins from Adecco, where she was a VP and head of US permanent recruitment. Before that, Chen founded and led search firm AM Solutions Group.
Earlier in her career, Chen was a partner at Vaco (now Highspring) and a staffing manager at Robert Half.
She holds an MBA in accounting and finance from UCLA.
“Many of the clients we serve today need access to professionals who can become leaders and decision makers of tomorrow,” said CEO John Gulnac. “SolomonEdwards is positioned perfectly to identify, attract and evaluate these professionals. Michelle and the Search team will ensure that our clients feel value beyond our consulting solutions.”
Founded in 1999, SolomonEdwards provides financial, operational, and technology consulting to clients in a range of industries. The firm has practices in accounting and finance operations, business transformation, corporate tax services, data solutions, technology enablement, private equity services, professional search, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
SolomonEdwards has over 900 employees listed on LinkedIn and offices in Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and San Francisco.
“I’m excited to join SolomonEdwards at a moment of such strategic growth,” said Chen. “Together, we’ll continue to evolve our search practice to help clients identify and empower exceptional talent while supporting the firm’s broader mission of turning complexity into clarity.”
