Tanya Hughes joins Navigant as a Managing Director
Management consultancy Navigant has added Tanya Hughes as a Managing Director in its Financial Services Advisory and Compliance (FSAC) business segment. Hughes, who boasts more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, will lead the FSAC segment’s banking, insurance, and capital markets (BICM) practice. She will be based in Navigant’s Washington, DC office.
Drawing on her strong background in technology, Hughes will help financial services clients leverage the cutting-edge solutions which are reshaping the industry. Her team will support Navigant’s clients with solutions related to digital payments, IT infrastructure, RPA, business process outsourcing, compliance, and advisory, among other areas.
During her more than 20-year career, Hughes has advised numerous financial institution on strategic transformations of business, operations, and IT. Many of her projects have involved the modernizing of core processing, digital, and payments, along with adept management of vendor relationships to successfully implement new technologies.

Before joining Navigant, Hughes spent 11 years at Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), a Jacksonville-based financial services technology and outsourcing firm. She served as a Managing Director at FIS for five-and-a-half years, and prior to that, as an Enterprise Business Development Executive. Before her time at FIS, Hughes spent a decade at IBM as a Client Executive.

Hughes has an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, as well as a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Arizona.
