Rimkus appoints Chris Rayasam as chief executive officer

Rimkus, a Houston-based engineering and technical consulting firm, has appointed Chris Rayasam as president and chief executive officer.

Based in Portland, OR, Rayasam brings two decades of experience in engineering and consulting, with a track record of driving growth through strategic leadership, successful acquisitions, and seamless integrations.

As CEO, Rayasam will focus on reinforcing Rimkus’ forensic engineering capabilities and accelerating its growth in the built environment sectors.

“Chris is well prepared to guide Rimkus forward, and I look forward to working with him in this next phase of growth,” said Curtis Brown, chairman and executive director at Rimkus.

Rayasam most recently spent two-and-a-half years as CEO of Consor, an infrastructure engineering and construction management firm. Prior to that he spent six years at Murraysmith, a water and transportation infrastructure engineering firm, where he served as CEO and CFO and played a key role in the firm’s acquisition and integration into Consor.

Earlier in his career, Rayasam was CFO at Otak, an engineering and design services firm, and corporate controller at Hemmera. He began his career at Aecom, where he was a senior manager.
