CFGI hires Radhika Ray as chief operating officer

CFGI, a Boston-headquartered accounting and consulting firm, has hired Radhika Ray as chief operating officer.

Based in New York, Ray brings more than 15 years of management consulting and private equity sector experience in operations and large-scale transformation.

She joins CFGI from McKinsey, where she spent nine years and was a partner in the transformation practice supporting clients in financial services, technology, and consumer sectors on performance transformation initiatives. Before that, Ray spent five years with Cerberus Capital Management as an operating executive. In the role, she executed operational improvements for portfolio companies such as Yellow Pages and New Avon.

Ray has an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor of business administration degree from Western University in Canada.

“Radhika has delivered strong results and accelerated growth and performance across some of the most demanding environments in business, while keeping a clear focus on people, innovation, and simplification. As CFGI deepens its relationships with private equity sponsors and the companies they back, the operational foundation we are building with Radhika is central to that growth,” said CFGI co-CEOs Shane Caiazzo and Nick Nardone.

As COO, Ray will oversee CFGI’s global operations, including expanding market presence, attracting and developing talent, and using AI to improve how the firm works.

“CFGI has built something rare in this industry: genuine credibility with companies and investors we serve, a team that delivers at the highest level, and a platform with real runway to grow,” said Ray. “I am excited to work with the leadership team to take CFGI into its next chapter and shape an organization where exceptional people want to build their careers.”

CFGI in 2021 became a portfolio company of Carlyle and CVC Capital Partners.

The firm was founded in 2000 and has 1,200+ professionals across 28 offices in the US, Europe, and Singapore. CFGI works with management teams and private equity sponsors on regulatory, transaction, and business improvement engagements.
