SBI Growth Advisory receives strategic investment from Bow River Capital
SBI Growth Advisory, a Dallas-headquartered sales and marketing consulting firm, has received a strategic investment from Bow River Capital, a Denver-based alternative asset manager.
Founded in 2006, SBI advises clients on growth strategy (revenue model, go-to-market model, and customer experience) and growth execution (sales, revenue marketing, pricing and packaging, customer success, and talent). SBI also provides sales-focused data and benchmarking solutions.
The Dallas firm has more than 120+ employees and has acquired several boutique firms in recent years, including Sales Readiness Group, Carabiner, and Brevet.
SBI says that it has driven more than $5 billion in revenue impact for 500+ companies. The firm works with clients in technology, healthcare, financial services, and industrials.
The Bow River Capital transaction will enable SBI to expand investment in talent, technology, and its proprietary intelligence platform, the consulting firm said in a press release.
“CEOs and Revenue leaders can no longer afford the gap between their topline strategy and the results they see in the field. SBI has spent years closing that gap, with an expert team that has owned and operated the GTM function at the world’s best growth companies,” said Matt Sharrers, executive chairman of the board of SBI. “Bow River has the shared vision and operating expertise to help us accelerate our growth journey.”
SBI’s leadership team, including Sharrers and Scott Gruher, senior partner, will continue to lead the firm.
“SBI is a leading go-to-market advisory, offering unmatched depth across strategy, design, implementation, and execution, underpinned by more than 20 years of proprietary data," said Mark Roberts, director at Bow River Capital. "Matt Sharrers and the SBI leadership team serve a marquee client base with rare depth and discipline, and we’re excited to partner with them as they execute their organic growth plan and proven M&A strategy."
Founded in 2003, Bow River Capital focuses on investments in the lower-middle-market in private equity, private credit, and real estate.
