Achieve Partners invests in life sciences consultancy Celito Tech
Achieve Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, has invested in Celito Tech, a Palo Alto, CA-based life sciences consulting firm.
Founded in 2019 by Vikas Kawatra and Ravi Monangi, Celito Tech provides regulatory, compliance, and IT services to biotech and life sciences firms. The consultancy delivers fractional teams with expertise in clinical quality assurance, regulatory and audit readiness, medical affairs enablement, enterprise application management, cybersecurity, and cloud migration.
Celito Tech has 100+ employees across the US, Latin America, and India.
“Joining the Achieve portfolio gives us the resources and talent infrastructure to dramatically expand our reach, while staying true to the mission that has driven our growth from day one: helping biotech companies navigate that complexity so they can focus on developing new life-saving therapies,” Kawatra said.
Achieve Partners is making the investment under its recently launched workforce II fund, which targets high-growth companies in sectors facing critical talent shortages.
Achieve was founded in 2018 and focuses on mid-market companies in tech services, healthcare services, and edtech.
“The biotech industry is at an inflection point as the opportunities presented by AI and emerging technology meet the regulatory and compliance regime that governs the field,” said Lauren Goldman, vice president at Achieve Partners. “What sets the Celito team apart is their combination of deep market knowledge and IT expertise, which makes them uniquely qualified to close the talent gaps at the intersection of these disciplines.”
