Rubicon acquires operational consultancy ArMur Consulting

Rubicon Management Consultants, a Houston-based performance improvement and operational consulting firm, has acquired ArMur Consulting, a Brighton, CO-based operational consulting firm.

Founded in 2024, ArMur is a boutique firm comprising managing directors Jason Armistead and Jim Murdoch. Armistead and Murdoch both have more than two decades of consulting experience, and both previously held senior roles in the operations practices of Advisian, MTG Ltd., and Celerant.

ArMur, a portmanteau of the managing directors’ abbreviated surnames, provides consulting services across areas including operational strategy and excellence, business process optimization, management systems, maintenance and reliability, safety systems, quality management, and supply chain management. The firm has particular industry expertise in chemicals and mining.

Bosso founded Rubicon in 2025 after selling his previous consultancy, Myrtle, to Accenture in 2020. 

Rubicon provides performance improvement and operational transformation consulting services to clients in manufacturing, consumer goods, and private equity, and supply-chain intensive industries. The boutique firm has eight employees listed on LinkedIn.
