K2 Integrity, a New York-based risk and compliance advisory firm, has acquired RiskFront AI, a Los Angeles-based provider of agentic AI systems for automating financial crime compliance and risk operations.

Founded in 2024, RiskFront helps clients across banking, technology services, and management consulting leverage automation to eliminate the manual work between alert generation and human decision-making.

The firm’s agentic AI platform “Airos” has systems across due diligence research, transaction analysis, and document analysis.

RiskFront has five professionals listed on its website.

The acquisition will enable K2 to provide AI solutions that help clients achieve cost savings and increase quality in financial crime operations.

“The RiskFront AI acquisition marks another step forward in executing Aaron’s vision for a technology-focused, AI-enabled future for K2. Our global clients will greatly benefit from these new offerings,” said Jules Kroll, K2 founder and chairman of the board.

The deal is K2’s second since Aaron Karczmer was named CEO in October 2025. The firm in March acquired Leviathan Security Group, a Seattle-based cybersecurity consulting firm.

“Combining RiskFront AI’s technology and automation experience with K2’s subject matter experts and experienced practitioners is an exciting opportunity to drive transformation and deliver impact. Joining K2 will also position us to develop AI-enabled managed service offerings for financial crime compliance and risk operations,” said Andy Bethurum, co-founder of RiskFront AI.

Founded in 2009, K2 has practices in strategic advisory, financial crimes risk management, investigations and disputes, cyber risk management, crypto and digital asset solutions, national security, and internal audit services. The firm has more than 300 employees listed on LinkedIn and 10 offices worldwide.
