Baringa hires Joanne Salih as partner in Houston

Baringa, a London-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Joanne Salih as a partner in its energy and resources practice in Houston.

Salih will lead strategy advisory in the energy and resources practice as well as US clients and markets.

She brings more than two decades of industry and consulting experience across the energy value chain. Salih has deep expertise in enterprise transformation, investment strategy, trading optimization, market entry, and business resilience.

She joins Baringa from Chevron, where she was global head of downstream, trading, midstream, and chemicals strategy. Before that, she was a senior partner and Americas head of commodity risk and trading at Oliver Wyman.

Earlier in her career, Salih was a senior manager in the strategy practices of Kearney and Accenture.

Baringa was founded in 2000 and has more than 2,300 employees, according to LinkedIn. The firm has offices in Europe, APAC, and North America, with US offices in New York, Charlotte, Chicago, and Houston.

Baringa has practices in strategy, finance, operations, supply chain, technology, and cybersecurity, among other areas, and works with clients in retail and consumer, energy and resources, financial services, life sciences, public sector, and TMT.

The firm recently welcomed Ashley-Rachelle Horstman as a partner in its energy and resources practice.
