Sendero acquires digital transformation specialist Torq Consulting
Sendero, a Dallas-based management consulting firm, has acquired Torq Consulting, a Plano, Texas-based digital transformation consulting firm.
Founded in 2020, Torq provides services in digital products, digital engineering, data and analytics, and enterprise transformation to clients in energy, financial services, healthcare, consumer services, automotive, aviation, and aerospace and defense.
The firm works with clients to execute digital initiatives through AI-powered custom development and data-driven business intelligence.
Sendero’s acquisition of Torq will add approximately 90 employees and will expand the firm’s technical capabilities in digital transformation, application development, and data analytics.
“For decades, businesses have had to adapt their processes to fit the rigid requirements of packaged software. AI-powered custom development changes that equation entirely – allowing tailored, bespoke solutions to be built directly around the business to drive true innovation and differentiation,” said Bret Farrar, CEO and founder of Sendero. “Torq brings the technical depth and the track record to do that at scale, and this acquisition instantly expands our ability to deliver those results for our clients nationwide.”
The Torq team will remain in their current Plano office and will operate as “Torq, a Sendero Company.”
“Sendero carries an incredible reputation and long-standing history of brand recognition in their markets, backed by deep industry experience,” said Chad Staiger, founder and CEO of Torq Consulting. “We are gaining the rapid scale needed to execute larger, more complex digital transformations while staying firmly committed to our shared values.”
The acquisition arrives shortly after Sendero completed a comprehensive rebranding.
The firm was founded in 2004 and has more than 450 employees listed on LinkedIn, and has six US offices across Dallas, Houston, Austin, Phoenix, Nashville, and Atlanta.
Sendero offers consulting services in operations, workforce productivity, customer experience, and technology.
