DXC appoints two new presidents

DXC Technology, an Ashburn, VA-headquartered IT consulting firm, has appointed Paul Taylor as president of DXC Technology and Dan Gray as president of global infrastructure services (GIS).

Dan Gray joins Ramnath Venkataraman, president of consulting and engineering services (CES), and Ray August, president of insurance software and business process services (ISB), as leader of one of DXC’s three global offering businesses. The trio will report to Paul Taylor.

DXC also recently appointed Holly Grant as president of AI innovation and strategy and LabX, the firm’s AI product incubation work and platforms engine.

Based in London, Taylor succeeds Raul Fernandez in the president role. Fernandez remains DXC’s chief executive officer.

As president, Taylor will lead the firm’s global operating business, with responsibility for customer growth, commercial execution, operational performance, profitability, and delivery across DXC’s $13-billion business. His remit spans five geographic markets and the three global businesses of GIS, CES, and ISB.

Taylor brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services and technology. He spent the last five years at HUB, a fintech firm he founded and sold to OST-TRA. Before that, he spent six years as a partner at IHS Markit and three years as CEO/partner at Eclectica Asset Management.

Earlier in his career, Taylor was a portfolio manager at Hydra Capital Management and Darby Overseas Investments.

Gray is based in Cincinnati and will work closed with Taylor to accelerate GIS’ growth through the adoption of AI-powered services.

He has been with DXC for 19 years, and most recently served as VP and chief technology officer for GIS. In the role, he led global technical customer operations, overseeing a team of 45,000 professionals delivering infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, mainframe, workplace, and business process services.

Before that, he was account delivery executive for Procter & Gamble and infrastructure and platform services.
