HKA adds Cameron Poth as managing director in Dallas

HKA, a risk and disputes consulting firm, has hired Cameron Poth as a managing director in its forensic accounting and investigations practice in Dallas.

Poth brings nearly 20 years of experience conducting financial and economic damages evaluations for commercial disputes, including breach of contract and business interruption. He has worked on engagements relating to fraudulent transfers, construction disputes, intellectual property infringement, oil and gas disputes, estate and trust matters, and white-collar fraud investigations.

Poth has provided expert witness testimony in state and federal courts and arbitral forums on matters involving economic damages, business losses, financial investigations, and complex accounting and financial issues.

His experience strengthens our team in a key market and enhances our ability to support clients across a broad range of complex engagements,” said Paul Donato, partner, co-lead forensic accounting and commercial damages, Americas, HKA.

Poth joins HKA from engineering and consulting firm Socotec, where he spent more than 19 years and was a principal.

He has a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a certified public accountant and certified in financial forensics.
