Everest Group hires Robert Webb as senior advisor

Everest Group, a Dallas-headquartered research firm, has hired Robert Webb as a senior advisor to its chief information officer (CIO) research and advisory practice.

Based in Dubai, Webb brings more than 30 years of experience in CIO roles and technology consulting. He previously served as CIO at MetLife Japan, Etihad Airways, Hilton Worldwide, Equifax, and GE Capital. Webb also has served on CIO advisory boards for IBM, Accenture, and AT&T.

Before his tenure as a CIO at leading corporations, he was a management consultant at Electronic Data Systems and Accenture. Webb holds an MBA from ESCP Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Western University in Canada.

Webb’s appointment builds on Everest’s recent expansion of the CIO practice with the hiring of partner Ross Tisnovsky. The practice provides research, insights, and applied intelligence to help CIOs make the right tech and AI investment decisions.
