RSM corners NetSuite market with Explore Consulting acquisition
The US arm of global consultancy RSM has strengthened its technology consulting practice with the acquisition of Seattle-based Explore Consulting. Both firms are ranked among the top NetSuite providers in the US and expect their merger to consolidate their share of a competitive software services market.
RSM US LLP has announced the acquisition of Explore Consulting, a leading provider of Oracle NetSuite solutions headquartered in Washington State. Explore Consulting’s staff and leadership – including Co-Founders Steve Jones, CEO, and Jeremy DeSpain, COO – will transfer to RSM along with all of its assets when the transaction officially concludes on July 1 2018.
Through the acquisition, RSM – a leading mid-market provider of consulting, audit, and tax services – simultaneously expands its presence in the Pacific Northwest and incorporates Explore Consulting’s award winning NetSuite expertise into its own growing technology consulting practice.
Both RSM and Explore Consulting have been ranked among the top five NetSuite providers in the US, with RSM topping the table for five consecutive years. NetSuite is a platform of software offerings acquired by Oracle in 2016 that helps organizations manage their ERP and CRM systems alongside a broad range of other services.

Jones’ team will remain at their Bellevue, Washington offices after the transaction comes through. They have made Seattle’s satellite city home since 2001, specializing in Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions throughout that time. The firm has won 28 NetSuite awards and has twice been named a NetSuite Partner of the Year for the Americas.
