Deloitte and Oracle Consulting announce cloud-focused collaboration
Oracle Consulting and big four firm Deloitte have announced a collaboration that will see both organizations using their insight and experience to create a sales and delivery platform called Elevate. Using the platform, customers will be able to drive and optimize businesses operations via the cloud.
"The joint cloud migration and delivery approaches offered by Oracle Consulting and Deloitte will be industry leading. Oracle customers are seeking to transform their enterprises quickly, cost-effectively, and successfully while driving business innovation on Autonomous Database and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure," Aaron Millstone, senior vice president of Oracle North America Cloud Consulting, said.
Elevate will leverage Deloitte’s cloud and Oracle’s migration services. It will provide customers with a single delivery model, automated cloud migration, a library of prepackaged industry solutions, and a holistic approach to cybersecurity fit for any customer, among other features.

Shifting to the cloud is all but a certainty for many businesses and industries. Deloitte has been quick to capitalize on that. The firm in April announced a collaboration with Google Cloud, in which the organizations would create solutions for the life sciences, healthcare, and retail sectors. The collaboration saw Deloitte combine its existing technology and expertise with Google’s open-source software.
“We plan to transform operating models across these key sectors by harnessing the power of cloud technologies and the extensive industry-specific knowledge and experience of our practitioners,” Janet Foutty, chair and CEO, Deloitte Consulting and chair-elect, said at the time.
Additionally, in September of last year, Deloitte acquired CloudTrek, an Australia-based cloud services company. The goal of the acquisition was to strengthen Deloitte’s Amazon Web Services offerings.
