PNC Financial Services Group and M Financial Group have announced a strategic partnership which will see M Financial offering insurance-related services to clients of PNC Wealth Management and Hawthorn, PNC Family Wealth – the marketing names PNC uses to offer investment consulting services.

The announcement marks the beginning of M Financials’ first firm-wide relationship. Per the agreement, PNC will work exclusively with “M Member Firms” that specialize in insurance.

"Collaborating with M Financial makes a great deal of sense for PNC, as access to their network of independent insurance and executive benefit firms will allow us to deepen our client relationships and meet their needs in new and different ways," Don Heberle, head of wealth management at PNC, said.

PNC also plans to put into action a service model that will place insurance strategists at the center of attention for interactions with individuals and organizations regarding insurance plans and policies. M Financial, meanwhile, will put together a team of specialists to offer assistance and services to PNC consultants.
