Heidrick Consulting adds three new consultants across New York and San Francisco
Executive search and human resources consultancy Heidrick & Struggles has added a principal and two partners in its Heidrick Consulting division. Emily Amdurer joins as a principal in New York, while Christianne Garofalo and David Peck join as partners in San Francisco.
Heidrick Consulting delivers HR advisory services in the areas of leadership assessment and development, organizational effectiveness, digital transformation, and culture shaping.
The consulting business of executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has strengthened its capabilities with addition of three senior-level advisors in the US.
New principal Emily Amdurer (New York) brings more than 15 years of experience developing leadership capabilities around transformation, having worked with high-profile clients in the financial services, private equity, industrials, and consumer markets industries.
Amdurer previously founded and ran Monroe Leadership Consulting, advising executives on leading though major organizational change. Prior to that, she was a leadership consultant at leadership and business psychology consultancy YSC.
While Amdurer completed a PhD in organizational behavior at Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, she also worked as an executive coach and leadership lecturer at the business school. Prior to working on her doctorate, Amdurer was a learning and development analyst at Citigroup and worked in organizational development at Blue Man Group. In addition to her PhD, Amdurer also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yeshiva University.
Christianne Garofalo (San Francisco) joins as a partner, and brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership assessment and development, having helped build numerous high-performing teams and driven organizational change interventions. She also brings extensive experience in leading diversity and inclusion initiatives at large corporates.
Garofalo was previously a senior partner at Korn Ferry. Before that, she was a director of client solutions at HR consultancy PDI Ninth House, which was acquired by Korn Ferry in 2013. Earlier in her career, Garofalo was a vice president of client services at boutique executive coaching firm Torchiana, Mastrov and Sapiro, as well as at Right Management.
She holds a JD from the Massachusetts School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from York College of Pennsylvania.
David Peck (San Francisco) joins as a partner and brings more than 15 years of experience advising and coaching top leadership teams and executives across the globe.
Peck joins from executive coaching firm Goodstone Group, where he was head of the western and central US region. Before that, he was a senior executive coach at the consulting firm. Prior to Goodstone, Peck held a number of leadership positions at bank Charles Schwab, latterly serving as divisional COO of Schwab Institutional.
Earlier in his career, Peck was a principal consultant at PwC, working in the investment management and security ops & technology practice. He holds a bachelor of fine arts from New York University.
