Broadcast, digital, and theatrical film distributor Stonecutter Media Ltd. has announced the hire of Douglas Ohlandt and Marc Fein, industry veterans who will work with Stonecutter in marketing and distribution consulting roles.

Fein’s focus will be on Combat Zone Wrestling, LLC (CZW) with which Stonecutter recently inked a distribution agreement. The agreement will see Stonecutter Media Ltd., distributing a series of hourlong CZW pay-per-view and purchasable on-demand events on various platforms, including cable and digital. The deal also puts into a place a live, Stonecutter-produced pay-per-view event for summer 2020, as well as a slate of theatrical films.

Fein has negotiated deals with big-name sports organizations such as the NHL, UFC, Big 12 Football, and Tour de France, as well as off-net rights to series such as “Survivor” and “Duck Dynasty.” He has worked as a consultant for organizations such as USA Volleyball, Tribune Media, and the World Triathlon Corp. In his role with Stonecutter, he will work to secure broadcast distribution for CZW, as well as weekly, digital, and linear placements.

Ohlandt, meanwhile, has more than 25 years of industry experience, with deep expertise in pay-per-view sports marketing and on-demand film promotion. He will work with Stonecutter and its clients in cable, satellite, and digital marketing distribution, and to expand the company’s national reach.

He is the recipient of several Mark awards, which honor excellence in cable and television marketing campaigns. He also won the 2011 CTAM Rainmaker Award, bestowed by the Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing, which “recognizes individuals who have played an essential role in supporting CTAM's priority of growing the cable business.”

"We're thrilled to welcome both Doug and Marc to the Stonecutter family to further grow and build our feature films, sports, and entertainment properties through a variety of worldwide platforms," Steve Karell, Stonecutter’s founder, said. "I'm confident that their marketing, distribution, and entertainment business expertise will prove to be valuable assets as we bring productions within the Stonecutter portfolio to national platforms."
