The addition of Alda Licis further expands the company’s capabilities in information infrastructure consulting. Based in Colorado, Licis brings over 25 years of experience in operational and development excellence.

Alda Licis, VP of infrastructure development - Tilson

Prior to joining Tilson, Licis was principal and owner of Front Range Infrastructure Consulting for two years, advising clients in the fiber and wireless industry. Before that, she spent five years at communications infrastructure firm Zayo Group as a senior leader in dark fiber and small cell development. During her time at Zayo, she managed P&L for the data center business unit, developed the company’s first small cell implementation team, and managed several large-scale fiber projects.

Before Zayo, Licis spent over four years at EYP Mission Critical Facilities (now Hewlett-Packard), a data center design and consulting company, where she was managing principal for the Chicago and federal engineering offices.

Earlier in her career, Licis held electrical engineer and project manager roles at OWP/P and Flak + Kurtz Consulting Engineers. She has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in architectural engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.

“Tilson has hired unbelievably talented leaders over the last year and Alda rounds out our leadership team with a focus on infrastructure development,” Josh Broder, Tilson CEO, said. “Alda's experience developing and deploying new infrastructure types – being first to small cells and dark fiber in her career, her technical background as an engineer, and her business and team leadership abilities make her a triple threat – experience, leadership, and know how.”

Licis added, “Tilson seeks mission-driven leaders to continue to spearhead innovative solutions and I'm looking forward to help build on the solid foundation developed over the last decade. I am thrilled to join a high-caliber team of motivated and influential leaders during this high growth period.”
