AIIR Consulting launches executive assessment service

Global business psychology consulting firm AIIR Consulting has officially launched an executive assessment service line. AIIR Executive Assessment allows companies to make informed, data-backed decisions when seeking and hiring new leaders.

The service’s launch comes at an opportune time. Baby boomers are leaving the workforce at extraordinary rates – 10,000 per day, according to AIIR – a byproduct of which is a high level of “C-suite churn.” This often leaves companies in a tough spot – they need to determine and select qualified candidates as quickly as possible, but only 30% of companies are actively working to develop executive-level employees. That’s where AIIR Executive Assessment service comes in.

“Organizations with great leaders win, pure and simple,” Dr. Derek Lusk, a talent assessment and selection expert at AIIR, said. “Yet, most organizations struggle to put the right people in charge. Leadership selection is usually ad-hoc and wrought with politics. As such, it’s no surprise that 70% of leaders fail in their first 18 months on the job. AIIR Executive Assessment injects science and experience into the process, exponentially increasing success.”

Customized to its clients’ needs, the service examines business goals and objectives, skills and experience requirements, and leadership competencies. From there, AIIR uses a proprietary algorithm to analyze data from sources such as professional background, competency-based interviews, and psychometric assessments. This data allows for the construction of candidate profiles and recommendations for those most suited to the position at hand.

“AIIR has built a world-renowned leadership and coaching consultancy that offers clients a high-touch development experience,” Jonathan Kirschner, Psy.D, AIIR’s founder CEO, said. “By strategically integrating executive assessment with leadership development, we expand our core capabilities and provide incredible value to our clients seeking help with succession planning, high-potential leader identification, and other leadership advisory services.”

AIIR has offices in Philadelphia, New York City, and San Francisco. It was founded on principles in the AIIR Method, which consists of four phases aimed at creating sustained behavioral change: assessment, insight, implementation, and reinforcement.
